Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a Technical Engineering Support professional to bolster yield, process improvement and shift-based engineering studies in a US manufacturing environment. The role emphasizes collaboration across day, evening and 2nd shift teams to ensure project continuity and compliant documentation.

The candidate should have 4+ years related experience or a 2-year degree with 2+ years, strong tool usage, 5S knowledge and the ability to operate in regulated industries.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely operate common hand and power tools during evening hours with appropriate lighting and safety protocols.
• Experience in 5S methodology and regulated industry experience.
• Ability to independently navigate in and operate PCs and other industrial computer equipment.
• Ability to redline and compose new MS Word documents using company standard templates, create basic PowerPoint slides.

Responsibilities

• Support yield and productivity sustainment through process improvement and troubleshooting during shift operations.
• Coordinate with 1st shift team during shift handover to ensure continuity of ongoing projects and processes.
• Training operators on manufacturing process and equipment operation/set-up during evening shift hours.
• Coordinate and execute moderately complex engineering studies and projects assigned with minimal guidance, ensuring progress updates are communicated to day shift management.
