Job summary

ASAC seeks a compassionate Lead Recovery Support Professional in Cedar Rapids, IA. You will supervise residential activities, support the RSP team, and ensure safe, structured programming for individuals on their recovery journey.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and experience in human services or a residential setting; previous management or shift-lead experience is preferred. Valid driver’s license and background check are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in human services or residential setting desired.
• Experience as a manager or shift leader is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise patients in residential activities and safety.
• Assist in training Recovery Support Professionals.
• Ensure group programming is professional and supervised.
• Document incident reports, logs, and TB documentation.
• Model professional interaction and lead the RSP team.
• Provide back-up coverage during staff absences and on-call duties.
• Coordinate medication procedures and monitor drug screens.
• Coordinate patient transportation and maintain facility safety.
