Job summary

Harvard Integrations LP in Tea, SD, is seeking a supervisor to lead staff in production and installation of customized engineered-to-order products. You will oversee daily metal processing operations, schedule work, and coordinate with design engineers and management to ensure on-time quality.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on problem solving, and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, with readiness to work weekends when needed and ensure safety and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience supervising or leading a team in a manufacturing operation.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Basic mathematical and computer skills.
• Ability to investigate and resolve production or equipment problems.
• Experience with sheet metal fabrication, welding, or industrial electrical wiring.
• Willingness to work Saturdays and Sundays when needed.

Responsibilities

• Study production schedules and assign daily work to staff.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of metal processing and fabrication.
• Implement maintenance schedules to extend equipment life.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Review work orders and blueprints to determine processes and sequencing.
• Inspect finished products using basic measurement tools.
• Suggest improvements to increase efficiency and quality.
• Resolve production problems and support staff in solving issues.
• Interpret company policies and ensure compliance.
• Motivate staff and manage performance and hiring decisions.
• Train employees on new responsibilities.
