The role covers food quality, health and safety compliance, cash handling, and adherence to standard operating procedures. The Shift Lead will also handle closing duties and coordinate with the HR team for accommodations if needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proven experience in food service.
• Knowledge of labor laws and food health & safety regulations.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding leadership and management skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent attendance record.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Physical ability to lift/carry up to 30 pounds and remain standing for shift.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers are served quality food in a timely manner.
• Regularly inspect all work areas for health and safety compliance.
• Accurately tally cash and card slips.
• Follow established SOPs and checklists.
• Close the business by switching off lights and arming the alarm.
