Quality Packaging (Qual Pac) in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep form fill and seal equipment and warehouse systems running smoothly. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, and work on batteries, chargers, and racking.

This role requires strong electrical troubleshooting, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read schematics. The shift is 5:00 pm to 5:30 am on a 2/3/2 schedule, with hourly pay in the mid $30s.

Qualifications

• Must have strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Must have strong mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge of high-voltage wiring (480V 3-phase motors).
• Experience with multi-craft maintenance and repair.
• Willingness to work under pressure to fix equipment.
• Ability to inspect machines and identify repair needs.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on mechanical handling equipment.
• Document records of maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
• Select repair parts and update parts records.
• Repair mechanical damage and replace defective parts, welding, brazing, and soldering.
• Maintenance and repair of batteries and chargers.
• Apply mechanical skills to troubleshooting electrical, plumbing, and fabrication.
• Read schematics and equipment manuals to perform maintenance and service.
• Inspect tools and measure with tape measures and micrometers.
• Perform repairs on production machines and ensure OSHA safety compliance.
• Respond to maintenance calls and plan short/long-term repairs.
