Job summary

PACCAR Engine Company in Columbus, Mississippi seeks an Area Human Resources Manager to provide leadership and partnership for evening shift manufacturing operations. The role focuses on employee relations, investigations, workforce planning, performance management, attendance, policy interpretation, compliance and engagement.

You will promote a culture of safety, accountability, respect, and continuous improvement while supporting recruiting, onboarding, and succession planning.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years HR Generalist experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in both Union and Non-Union environments preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
• MBA, PHR or SPHR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR leadership for evening-shift manufacturing operations.
• Provide employee relations support, investigations, conflict resolution, and coaching.
• Manage workforce planning, attendance administration, policy interpretation, and compliance.
• Collaborate with operations leadership to improve engagement, performance, and safety culture.
• Coordinate recruiting, onboarding, internal movement and succession planning.
• Support talent development, organizational effectiveness, and integration of continuous improvement initiatives.
