UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. The role focuses on planning, delivering, and managing direct patient care using the nursing process, with emphasis on assessment, discharge planning, and coordination of care.

The position requires MA RN licensure, BLS, ACLS in select areas, and NRP/PALS where applicable. A BSN is strongly preferred, and a signing bonus may be available for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN license required.
• BLS (AHA/ARC) required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS required in select areas within 6 months or first course offering.
• PALS required in select areas within 6 months or first course offering.
• NRP required in select areas within 6 months or first course offering.

Responsabilités

• Utilizes nursing process for patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessment/reassessment per standard procedure.
• Develops and coordinates plans of care including discharge planning.
• Directs and evaluates nursing care in assigned setting.
• Delegates tasks according to job description and competency.
