Job summary

Qualifications

• RN with at least 9 months of experience.
• ED experience or Kaiser New Grad Internship in ED.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Oregon RN license; BLS required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan nursing care across hospitalization.
• Coordinate discharge planning with hospital departments and community agencies.
• Document care in EMR and follow physicians' orders.
• Evaluate patient outcomes and participate in quality assurance.

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Registered Nurse License (Oregon)

Basic Life Support

Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course within 6 months of hire

Advanced Cardiac Life Support

Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire

NIH Stroke Scale Certificate within 3 months of hire
