Kaiser Permanente Northwest is seeking an RN to provide nursing care under general supervision, collaborating with the health care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Westside Medical Center Emergency department.

The role requires pediatric and ACLS certifications, Oregon RN licensure, and ED experience or completion of Kaiser’s New Grad Internship. Night shifts, 36 hours weekly, and part-time scheduling characterize the position.

Formación

• Minimum nine (9) months of RN experience.
• One (1) year of current ED experience or successful completion of the Kaiser Permanente New Grad Internship Program in the Emergency Department.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Basic Life Support required at hire
• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course within 6 months of hire OR Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire
• Registered Nurse License (Oregon)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• NIH Stroke Scale Certificate within 3 months of hire
• Computer keyboarding skills.
• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course

Responsabilidades

• Assessment: Performs accurate multi-system assessments and discharge planning needs.
• Planning/Implementation/Evaluation: Develops care plans, delegates appropriately, documents, and evaluates patient care.
• Documentation: Accurately documents in the EMR and follows policy and procedure.
• Teamwork: Utilizes a multidisciplinary approach and coordinates care with the health care team.
