Potbelly Sandwich Shop in Chicago is hiring Team Members for evening and night shifts after 4pm. Earn between $17.25 and $17.75 per hour plus digital tips, with a comprehensive benefits package and a focus on friendly, fast-paced service.

As a primary customer contact, you will ensure a great dining experience by delivering quality, fast service in a clean, welcoming environment. Illinois-specific safety certification is required within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age.
• Friendly, customer-first mindset in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to stand for 3+ hours and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Illinois food safety certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Work multiple stations (load, dress, shakes, cash, prep, front) as directed by a supervisor.
• Follow health, safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Restock line, chips and cooler; prepare sandwiches, salads, soups, cookies, ice cream.
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions.
• Address customer concerns and process delivery/catering orders.
