Viva Senior Living in Oak Ridge, TN is seeking an experienced Evening Shift Cook to join our assisted living and independent living community. You will prepare and cook meals according to dietary guidelines, ensure quality and safety, and provide friendly service to residents.

You will work with kitchen staff to accommodate dietary needs, maintain clean, organized prep areas, and assist with closing duties.

Qualifications

Experience as a cook, preferably in assisted living or healthcare.
Strong attention to detail with focus on food quality and safety.
Able to work the evening shift reliably.
Excellent customer service and professional demeanor.
Knowledge of dietary restrictions is a plus.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines for assisted living and independent living residents.
Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety during the evening shift.
Ensure all food preparation areas are clean, organized, and comply with health and safety regulations.
Work closely with kitchen staff and management to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with residents and responding to their meal-related requests or concerns.
Monitor inventory and report any shortages or issues to management.
Assist with closing duties, including cleaning and securing the kitchen area at the end of the shift.
