Job summary

American Senior Communities, LLC is seeking a Cook for Franklin Meadows on the evening shift. You will prepare and serve nutritious meals, follow approved menus, and uphold sanitation standards to support residents’ well-being.

You will supervise kitchen staff during prep and service, ensure food safety, and maintain organized storage and cleaning routines. Prior healthcare dining experience is a plus, with certifications welcomed.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Sanitation/Safe Food Handling certification preferred.
• Prior institutional/healthcare dining experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follows recipes and prepares meals per menus meeting residents' nutrition needs.
• Leads kitchen staff in food prep, trays, cleaning, and storage.
• Maintains a clean, compliant food service area during service.
• Handles, stores, and disposes of food according to procedures and regulations.
