Job summary

Townsend Park Health & Rehab is seeking a dedicated cook to prepare meals per dietician-approved menus in a fast-paced kitchen. You will operate equipment, maintain hygiene, and help ensure timely service for residents.

We offer weekly pay, a benefits package including PTO, vision, 401(k) with match, and a referral bonus program. Prior food service experience preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service preferred.
• Ability to read safety rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepares various foods according to menus created by dieticians.
• Operates kitchen equipment such as mixer, oven and steamer.
• Maintains clean and sanitized work surfaces.
• Ensures meals are prepared and served on time.
• Follows infection control policies and guidelines.
• Monitors temperatures and stocks.
