Job summary

Townsend Park Health & Rehab is seeking a dedicated dietary aide to support meal preparation, serve patients, carry trays, and maintain a clean dining area. You will work with cooks and nursing teams in a mission-driven, non-profit setting that values care quality and teamwork.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and adherence to safety and sanitation procedures, with benefits and weekly pay. A high school diploma is preferred, and prior kitchen experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Assist cook in preparing desserts or snacks for patients.
• Assist cook in preparation of meals.
• Carry trays to patients on halls.
• Clean tables in the dining area after each meal.
• Help with salads and desserts and other dishes.
• Pour beverages for patients and serve them.
• Take meals to patients in dining areas.
• Prepare between-meal nourishments like sandwiches.
• Clean and reset work areas after shifts and meals.
• Follow infection control policies and keep kitchen clean.
