Job summary

Physicians Regional Healthcare System Naples, FL, seeks a Pharmacy Technician II - Certified to ensure safe preparation, dispensing, and management of medications within the hospital setting.

You will assist pharmacists, handle sterile and non-sterile compounding, manage inventory, and maintain precise records while delivering excellent customer service to patients and staff. Evening shift, 2pm–10:30pm, at 8300 Collier Blvd, Naples, FL 34114.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital or healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with preparation, compounding, labeling, and dispensing of medications per hospital policies.
• Prepare sterile/non-sterile compounded medications using aseptic techniques per USP guidelines.
• Manage inventory: monitor stock, order supplies, conduct regular audits.
• Maintain records of dispensing, inventory transactions, and controlled substances per regulatory standards.
• Participate in quality assurance for medication storage, compliance, and safety.
• Provide customer service to patients, nurses, and staff about meds and services.
• Operate and maintain pharmacy equipment, like automated dispensing systems, and troubleshoot.
• Support pharmacists with medication reviews and history reconciliation.
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols; keep pharmacy environment clean.
• Performs other duties; maintain attendance; comply with policies.
