Job summary

Physicians Regional Healthcare System in Naples, FL, seeks a Pharmacy Technician II - Certified to support safe medication preparation, dispensing, and record-keeping in a hospital setting.

You will work evenings (2:30pm - 10:30pm) in a part-time capacity, assisting pharmacists, maintaining records, and ensuring regulatory compliance while delivering excellent patient service and teamwork within the pharmacy.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital or healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Assists pharmacists in preparation, compounding, labeling, and dispensing of medications.
• Prepares sterile and non-sterile compounded medications using aseptic techniques.
• Conducts inventory management, orders supplies, and performs regular audits.
• Maintains accurate dispensing records and complies with regulatory standards.
• Collaborates with pharmacists to optimize patient care and provides customer service to patients and staff.
• Operates and maintains pharmacy equipment and supports medication reviews as needed.
• Follows safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
