Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital or healthcare setting.
• Licensure/certification requirements listed below (LPT or PHAR-C; BCLS).

Responsibilities

• Assists pharmacists in preparation, labeling, and dispensing of medications.
• Prepares sterile and non-sterile compounded medications using aseptic techniques.
• Maintains records of dispensing, inventory, and controlled substances in compliance with standards.
• Participates in quality assurance and medication safety activities.
• Provides customer service to patients, nurses, and staff.
• Operates pharmacy equipment and supports medication reviews as needed.
