Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital or healthcare setting.
• Must hold LPT - Licensed Pharmacy Tech in state of employment or PHAR-C - Certified Pharmacy Tech.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required.

Responsibilities

• Assists pharmacists in preparation, compounding, labeling, and dispensing of medications per hospital policies.
• Prepares sterile and non-sterile compounded meds using aseptic techniques per USP guidelines.
• Manages medication inventory, orders supplies, and conducts regular audits.
• Maintains accurate dispensing records and controlled substances logs per regulatory standards.
• Participates in quality assurance and patient safety initiatives.
• Provides customer service to patients, nurses, and healthcare staff about medications.
