Job summary

Homewood Retirement Centers in the United States is seeking a part-time restaurant server to deliver meals to residents and guests in a warm, restaurant-style setting at The Windows.

You should have food service experience, be able to stand for long shifts, and lift up to 25 pounds while maintaining high hygiene. You will follow service procedures and contribute to a pleasant dining experience for residents and guests.

Qualifications

• Food service experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and printed instructions.
• High degree of personal hygiene and cleanliness.
• Ability to push tray carts and lift up to 25 pounds during an eight-hour shift.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during an eight-hour shift.
• Must treat residents and the public with kindness and respect in a cheerful manner.
• Ability to use the point of service system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food to residents and guests in a restaurant-style environment.
• Ensure high-quality dining experience for residents and guests.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Assist with meal tray preparation and dining room setup.
• Serve food on trays and at tables with proper etiquette.
• Support creating a positive restaurant-style environment for residents and guests.
• Complete daily cleaning and sanitation of dishes, utensils, and work areas.
