Job summary

Homewood Living Plum Creek is seeking a part-time server for the Evening shift. You will deliver meals to residents and guests in a restaurant-style setting, ensuring a high-quality dining experience while upholding confidentiality and sanitation standards.

Prior food service experience is preferred; ability to stand/walk for eight hours, lift 25 pounds, and follow instructions. Regular duties include tray preparation, serving, and supporting events as needed.

Qualifications

• Food service experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• High degree of personal hygiene and cleanliness.
• Ability to repeatedly push tray carts and lift a minimum of 25 pounds over an eight hour shift.
• Ability to stand and walk for an eight hour shift.
• Must treat residents and the public with kindness and respect.
• Ability to use the point of service system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food to residents and guests in a restaurant style environment.
• Serve food on trays and tables with proper etiquette.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Assist in meal tray preparation and dining area setup.
• Ensure sanitation and cleanliness of dishes, utensils, and work areas.
• Support special food functions (banquets, teas, etc.).
