Job summary

Homewood Living Williamsport is seeking a dedicated Food Service Aide to deliver meals to residents and guests in a restaurant-style dining setting. This full-time role runs from 11:15 am to 7:45 pm, with options for part-time coverage in the evenings.

You will prepare trays, serve meals, and assist in creating a positive dining atmosphere while upholding high standards of hygiene and resident care.

Qualifications

• Food service experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and printed instructions.
• High degree of personal hygiene and cleanliness.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds and push tray carts during an eight hour shift.
• Ability to stand and walk for an eight hour shift.
• Must treat residents and the public with kindness and respect.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food to residents in a restaurant-style dining environment.
• Assist with meal tray preparation and setting tables.
• Serve food on trays or tables with proper etiquette.
• Deliver tray carts and nourishment to nursing areas.
• Maintain daily cleanliness and sanitation of dishes and work areas.
• Assist with special food functions and other duties as directed.
