Merrill Gardens at Rockridge in Oakland, CA is seeking a Senior Living Caregiver for the Evening Shift to support residents with daily living activities, medication assistance as allowed by state guidelines, and daily progress reports. Candidates should have a CNA license or two years of caregiver experience, and be willing to obtain CPR within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or ability to obtain.
• CNA license or two years previous experience as a caregiver.
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and complete daily progress reports of services provided.
• Complete progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed.
