Job summary

IVY PARK AT SALINAS is seeking a compassionate Care Provider to assist residents with daily living activities and support independence in a senior living community managed by Oakmont Management Group.

The role requires a minimum of 18 years old, a high school diploma or GED, and a willingness to be trained. Duties include ADL support, safety, and collaboration with the care team; benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, meals, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• Oakmont may require vaccination, daily screening, surveillance testing, and PPE per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living as per the resident's plan (eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, continence).
• Respond promptly to residents' needs while maintaining dignity and safety.
• Notify supervisor of any observed/resident change in condition.
• Maintain a safe environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork with co-workers and other departments.
