Job summary

IVY PARK AT SALINAS, part of Oakmont Management Group, seeks a compassionate Care Provider to assist residents with daily living in a welcoming senior living community.

Shifts from 6am-2pm Tue-Sat or 2pm-10pm Sun-Thu; pay range $17.50-$19.50 hourly; no prior experience required as training is provided. Must be 18+, HS diploma, good customer service, and able to communicate clearly with residents, families, and staff. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, vacation, meals, 401(k), and more.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including TB tests
• Vaccination/ PPE requirements may apply per regulatory guidelines

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as per care plan (eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, continence).
• Respond promptly to residents’ needs while maintaining dignity and safety.
• Communicate observed changes in condition to a supervisor.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with staff and other departments
