Job summary

Rocky Mountain Assisted Living in Highlands Ranch, CO is seeking a compassionate caregiver for the PM shift.

Pay is $21.00 to $23.00 per hour, 6PM–6AM, with benefits including medical/dental/vision for eligible employees, PTO, paid sick time, daily pay, and referrals.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with activities of daily living, promoting resident rights, and maintaining a clean, safe home while following care plans and RMAL policies.

Qualifications

• Must have sympathetic attitude toward the care of the elderly.
• Must have or be willing to get QMAP.
• Ability to carry out written and verbal directions and to read and write.
• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with Activities of Daily Living in accordance with the Resident's Care Plan and RMAL Policies and Procedures.
• Engage residents with person centered care.
• Understand, adheres to, and promote RMAL Policies and Procedures.
• Understands adheres to, and promotes Resident Rights.
• Performs housekeeping duties throughout the home. Ensures the home is clean and tidy at all times.
• Participates in all required orientation, training, competency, and in-service programs as scheduled and necessary per RMAL Policy.
• Documents in the 24-hour communication log, activity log, and MAR prior to leaving every shift in a professional and objective manner.
• Adheres to safe food practices while preparing scheduled meals.
• Performs other tasks instructed by House Manager and/or Wellness Director and in accordance with the Residents and RMAL Policies and Procedures.
