Job summary

MorningStar Senior Living in Longmont, CO is seeking a Caregiver for full-time day or night shifts. Pay range is $19.50–$20.50 per hour, with 12-hour shifts and a 3x week schedule on a rotating weekend plan.

The role focuses on building relationships with residents, assisting with activities of daily living, and supporting a caring team in a family-like environment. Benefits listed include health options and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Previous experience in healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development and review of the resident’s care plan in conjunction with other disciplines.
• Ensure residents privacy, respect and dignity.
• Detect, correct, and report unsafe conditions which may result in harm to a resident.
• Assure physical comfort, safety, and mental well-being of residents.
• Assist in daily requirements and tasks in care and treatment of residents, such as toileting, grooming, bathing, feeding, dressing, observing intake of food, care of hair and nails, moving residents from area to area, responding to calls, etc.
• Demonstration of our Core Values: Love, Kindness, Honesty, Goodness, Fairness, Respect.
• License/Certification: Must have a First Aid certification as required.
• Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be able to read and write English. Previous experience in healthcare preferred.
• Continuing Education: As required by law and must attend monthly in-service educations within the community.
