Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital is seeking a Sergeant – Security for the Evening Shift. You will supervise security officers, coordinate deployment, and perform patrols and reports to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, NYS Security License, and 3 years of experience, plus BCLS and various security certifications. On-site work with rotating weekends and a strong focus on safety and incident documentation.

Responsibilities

• supervise security officers on a day-to-day basis
• coordinate deployment of security personnel to ensure a safe environment for patients, visitors and staff
• conduct building/property patrols and periodic inspections
• evaluate the work performance of officers
• complete neat and legible incident reports
