Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Evening Residential Facility Security Officer in New York. You will patrol, deter incidents, and provide courteous service to residents and visitors while maintaining a visible security presence in a residential community.

Minimum requirements include being 18+, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen. Full-time schedule with shift hours and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal, state and local laws.
• Allied Universal accepts qualified applicants with criminal histories where allowed by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents and resident concerns in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular patrols of buildings, common areas, parking, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; document observations and incidents.
• Communicate professionally with residents, personnel, visitors, and responders to maintain a welcoming environment.
