Job Description

As a Security Officer - Evening Residential Facility, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Patrol Officer for a residential community. In this active role, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide courteous communication to residents and visitors. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Thur: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Fri: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and report observations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site‑specific procedures, maintaining accurate activity and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with residents, property personnel, visitors, and emergency responders while supporting a welcoming residential environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
