Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard Full Time for a New York government human services site. You will provide unarmed security, monitor entrances, patrol interior and exterior areas, and deliver professional customer service to staff and visitors.

The role requires NYS Security Guard License, at least one year of security experience, and compliance with background checks and drug screening. Shifts are mornings, and compensation is $18.87 per hour, with full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have NYS Security Guard License.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff at a government location.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow post orders and escalation procedures.
• Prepare accurate activity logs and shift documentation for leadership.
