Job summary

Boys Town National Research Hospital is seeking a Security Officer to help ensure safety for employees and visitors across Boys Town properties. The role includes patrols, incident reporting, and collaboration with local police during emergencies.

Responsibilities include monitoring access, enforcing campus policies, and assisting in evacuations or sheltering during severe weather. The position requires flexibility for evenings and weekends and a strong commitment to public safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Willingness to complete BLS (CPR) within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Must work at multiple Boy Town property locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective security services.
• Attend safety and abuse risk management training as assigned.
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols of properties and clinics.
• Secure doors and windows and monitor for intruders.
• Investigate incidents and prepare security reports.
• Coordinate with police for unusual or unsafe conditions.
