Job summary

Boys Town is seeking a Campus Resource Officer to monitor safety on campus, patrol properties, and interact with youth to uphold a secure environment. The role requires vigilance, crisis intervention, and adherence to safety policies.

The officer will work a 3:30 PM–11:30 PM shift, handle emergency responses, and maintain comprehensive security documentation to support Boys Town’s mission of safeguarding America’s youth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 21 years of age required.
• Minimum of 6 months of related experience, including administrative work required.
• Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record and pass an annual MVRC check.
• Work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Patrol campus and Boys Town properties to ensure safety and security.
• Attend safety and abuse risk management training as assigned.
• Report suspicious or inappropriate behaviors and policy violations.
• Escort staff and youth as required and provide crisis intervention when needed.
• Respond to calls from staff and maintain detailed security reports and documentation.
