Job summary

Boys Town in Omaha, NE is seeking a Campus Resource Officer to monitor safety and security across Boys Town properties. You will patrol campuses by foot, bicycle, or vehicle, interact with youth, enforce safety policies, and respond to incidents with crisis intervention when needed.

The role requires a high school diploma, 21+ years old, and the ability to pass safety training including NASRO, CPR/First Aid, and crisis management certifications within specified timeframes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 months of related experience, including administrative work.
• Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to obtain NASRO Training within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to complete CPR/BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to complete NCI or Safe Crisis Management training within 60 days.
• Excellent interpersonal and de-escalation skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor safety and security on Boys Town properties through patrols.
• Interact with youth and act as a positive role model.
• Respond to incidents and report suspicious activities and policy violations.
• Enforce campus safety policies and procedures and complete required reports.
• Coordinate with Boys Town Police Department and other staff as needed.
