Job summary

Harvard Protection Services is seeking a Security Officer to deliver professional, customer-focused security and life safety services for people and property.

Officers will maintain a visible presence, greet visitors, monitor entrances, perform patrols, respond to incidents, and prepare routine reports. The role requires reliable transport, strong communication, and a professional appearance. Competitive hourly pay with benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma, GED or the equivalent.
• Reliable means of communication and transportation.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and neat and professional appearance.
• Previous contract security, law enforcement, military, customer service experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer-focused security and life safety services.
• Maintain a visible presence in the facility and monitor entrances and exits.
• Greet customers, visitors, staff, tenants, and guests professionally.
• Answer phones professionally and assist with inquiries.
• Perform required patrols and monitor alarms and systems.
• Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
