Job summary

Sea Island is seeking an Evening Shift Security Officer (Part-Time) to protect guests, team members, and property at our Sea Island, GA location. The role requires alertness, professional demeanor, and the ability to interact with guests and staff with courtesy and clarity.

Qualified candidates will have security experience, a GA driver license, CPR/AED certification, and proficiency in Windows XP and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience in Security strongly preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Valid Georgia Driver’s License
• Must be 21 years of age or older to drive a company vehicle
• Current CPR/AED certification
• Proficient in Windows XP and Microsoft Office software applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to courteously present information to people in one-on-one and group situations
• Exhibits Sea Island Five-Star Behavior Standards and related values

Responsibilities

• Monitor entry and exits at the gate ensuring access for members, guests, or authorized personnel
• Greet guests and members as they arrive
• Learn regular guests’ and members’ names and preferences
• Patrol buildings and grounds routinely
• Assist with safekeeping of lost and found items
• Assist with transport of alcohol from outlets as needed
• Maintain knowledge of guest services, activities, dining, shops, and local information
• Report rule infractions and security concerns to supervisor
• Inspect doors, windows, and gates to ensure security
• Prepare incident reports and loss/theft documentation
• Coordinate with law enforcement when required
• Support other resort departments to maintain rapport and communication
• Stay informed about project locations and access routes
