Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time access control patrol driver position in Sugar Land, TX. You will monitor and protect facilities, perform regular patrols, manage access control procedures, and respond to incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

This role requires a valid driver's license, at least 6 months of security experience, and the ability to work a 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM schedule.

Qualifications

Minimum 6 months of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license is required.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background check and drug screen are required by policy.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by following site policies and emergency procedures at a chemical/petrochemical location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas.
Monitor access control points, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and maintain entry/exit records.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and notify site contacts and emergency services as directed.
Complete accurate activity reports and handoff communications to deter unauthorized access and policy violations.
