Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer in Pittsburgh to support a transportation location. You’ll provide customer service, follow site security policies, and assist in emergency responses as needed.

You will conduct regular and random patrols, monitor access points, document observations, and relay information to site contacts and leadership. A high school diploma and background check are required; age 18+ for unarmed roles and 21+ for armed roles; driving license as needed.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service at a transportation location following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and solve problems.
• Conduct regular patrols to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity per site procedures.
• Document observations and report to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a transportation location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of transportation facilities, parking areas, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe employee, visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and unusual activity and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
