Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer – Patrol in Pittsburgh, PA. You will provide security for parking facilities and surrounding areas, maintain a visible presence, and respond to concerns with clear communication and customer-focused service.

The role involves documenting observations, reporting issues promptly, and supporting a people-first culture through teamwork, integrity, and an agile, reliable approach.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by policy.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures, site policies, and emergency response activities at parking facilities and transit areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, assist with access control concerns and patron disputes.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of parking garages, surface lots, entrances, stairwells, elevators and perimeter areas.
• Monitor pedestrian and vehicle traffic, report hazards and maintenance concerns, assist patrons with directions and parking questions.
• Complete required reports and logs, communicate conditions to site contacts and Allied Universal management, and support local authorities when requested.
