Job summary

Campbell Elem in League City, TX, is seeking an Evening Custodian to perform routine cleaning and maintenance to ensure safety and cleanliness of school facilities. As a CCISD employee, you will contribute to the district's mission and operate cleaning equipment as part of a dedicated custodial team.

Responsibilities include following cleaning protocols, maintaining classrooms and common areas, and assisting in event setup and safety drills.

Qualifications

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to read and understand instructions for cleaning, maintenance, energy management and safety procedures.
Ability to operate cleaning equipment and lift heavy equipment.
Ability to properly handle cleaning supplies.
Ability to work flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

Perform cleaning duties specific to light duty, restroom, utility and vacuum specialists as part of team cleaning protocol or related to zone cleaning management.
Maintain a cleaning schedule including sweeping, dusting, trash removal, and sanitizing surfaces in classrooms and hallways.
Maintain floors including carpet extraction, mopping, spot removal, sweeping, vacuuming, finishing, and buffing.
Inspect and clean cafeterias, gyms, restrooms and locker rooms as assigned.
Report maintenance problems to the Lead Custodian for repairs.
