Job summary

Clear Creek ISD’s Creekside Intermediate in League City, TX is hiring an Evening Custodian to support daily cleaning and maintenance. The role requires following established procedures to maintain safety and cleanliness, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and district-wide standards.

As a CCISD employee, you will contribute to a clean, safe learning environment by performing custodial tasks, reporting maintenance issues, and participating in events as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in custodial work or willingness to learn.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment.
• Read and follow safety procedures.
• Flexible schedule requirements.
• Effective communication with staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties for light duty areas, restrooms, and floors as part of team cleaning or zone cleaning.
• Maintain a cleaning schedule including sweeping, dusting, waste removal, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Inspect and clean cafeterias, gyms, restrooms, and locker rooms as assigned.
• Report maintenance problems to the Lead Custodian for repairs.
• Ensure lights are off and building secure before clocking out.
• Assist with setup/breakdown during district or community events.
