Qualifications

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and understand instructions for cleaning, maintenance, energy management and safety procedures.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and lift heavy equipment.
• Ability to properly handle cleaning supplies.
• Ability to work flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties for light duty, restrooms, utilities as part of team cleaning or zone cleaning management.
• Maintain a cleaning schedule: sweep/dust rooms, empty trash, clean boards, windows, fixtures, sinks and restrooms.
• Maintain floors: carpet extraction, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, finishing and buffing.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms; refill dispensers.
• Inspect and clean cafeterias, gyms, lounges, restrooms and locker rooms as assigned.
• Prepare areas for district or community events; assist with setup/breakdown and safety drills.
