Job summary

Charter Schools USA Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Night Custodian at Renaissance Charter School at Cooper City to maintain a clean, safe and well-kept facility.

The role covers interior and exterior cleaning, restroom sanitation, trash removal, and collaboration with the Head Custodian on preventive maintenance. Occasional travel to nearby sites may be required; adherence to safety procedures is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma minimum.
• 1 year of janitorial experience.
• Must possess the above knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned interior areas: hallways, restrooms, offices, classrooms, multipurpose room and other areas as directed.
• Clean exterior areas: perimeter of building, parking lot, playground, windows and other areas as directed.
• Empty trash from all receptacles and maintain cleanliness.
• Dust FF&E, window sills, air vents and other surfaces.
• Sanitize restrooms and respond to bodily messes per training.
• Assist with cafeteria cleanliness and table sanitation; keep floors clean.
• Travel may be required to nearby schools or warehouses.
• Follow OSHA safety procedures and company policies; report issues to supervisor.
• Participate in training to improve skills and performance.
• Stay on school property during shift; do not leave without supervisor permission.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
