Job summary

Starting immediately, this is a first shift position in the summer with a salary range of roughly $21.59–$22.25 per hour plus a possible $1.35 shift differential after 3 PM, and reports to the Director of

Qualifications

• Experience in custodial and plant operations.
• Ability and willingness to perform general custodial duties.
• Ability to work with machinery and technology.
• Proven ability to work courteously with other staff and public.
• Must be reliable, able to work as part of a team.
• Massachusetts drivers license required.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.
• Satisfactory CORI/SORI/Background Check.
• Other duties may be assigned by the building principal or Director of Finance and Operations.
• Two hour asbestos awareness training required within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Report to building principal or head custodian and support daily operations.
• Perform cleaning, maintenance and general care of the building and grounds.
• Ensure a safe, attractive and clean environment for students and staff.
• Follow directions for duties and adapt to assigned tasks.
