Job Description

Title of Position: Custodian - Houseworker, Evening and Weekend Shift

Location: Marlborough High School

EVENING/WEEKEND SHIFT

• School Year Hours: Monday-Wednesday 2:30 PM – 11:00pm & WEEKEND 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• Summer Hours: Monday-Friday 6:30 AM-3:00 PM (Occasional weekend hours in the summer)
• Training Period:Monday-Friday 2:30pm – 11:00pm for 1-2 Months of Training,then transition to hours above.

Work Year: 2026-2027

Effective Date of Employment: As soon as possible - this is a year-round position

Salary: According to the Custodial Salary Scale

FY27 Starting Salary: $50,158.00, plus nightly differential, and an increase after 6 consecutive months of service

Job Responsibilities:

The Building Custodian is generally responsible for the achievement of the purposes of custodian services in the building, i.e., preserve property values, protect health and safety of occupants; support the educational objectives of the building and provide a climate of learning, develop goodwill and maintain cleanliness and neatness
