Job summary

Parkway School District is seeking a dependable custodian for Pierremont Elementary, with hours 2 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The position is non-exempt and located in a West County area of the St. Louis region. Starting pay is $17.50 per hour, with pay depending on verifiable experience.

Qualifications

• Experience: Job-related experience with increasing levels of responsibility is desired.
• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Clearances: Criminal Background Check required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned facilities and/or grounds for a sanitary, safe, and attractive environment.
• Confers with building administration to assist with coordination of activities.
• Informs students, teachers, and on-site personnel regarding safety and maintenance of facilities.
• Performs maintenance and setup duties to support events and daily operations.
• Prepares site for daily operations, including opening/closing gates and securing doors/windows.
• Secures facilities and grounds to minimize damage and liability.
