Job summary

Parkway Schools is seeking an evening shift Custodian at West High School. The role is year-round, non-exempt, 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm, 8 hours daily. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour with increases based on experience.

Qualifications

• Proven stable employment history and excellent attendance record.
• Willingness to follow written, verbal, and demonstrated instructions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work with teachers and staff.
• Demonstrated customer service orientation.
• Mobility to move in and around the school; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; climb ladders up to 8 feet.
• Able to understand and communicate in English for basic job-related duties and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties to keep the school clean, healthy, and safe.
• Vacuum, wet mop, clean and stock bathrooms; empty trash; dust and mop surfaces.
• Move and arrange furniture and equipment as needed.
