Job summary

Saddle Peak Elementary in Belgrade, Montana is hiring a Custodian for an evening shift (3pm–11:30pm) with a regular 8-hour day pattern. The role involves general cleaning, maintenance, and prep for activities while supporting students and staff. Salary ranges from $20.20 to $21.56 per hour plus a shift differential of $0.50.

Qualifications

• Has at least a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in building cleaning is desirable but not mandatory.
• Ability to read and follow written work orders and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Secure building at start and end of shift to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Clean rooms, corridors, restrooms, cafeterias, offices, and other areas per district standards.
• Operate and maintain floor care equipment safely and effectively.
• Assist with deliveries and setup for events as needed.
• Assist with snow removal and apply ice melt as directed.
• Support students, staff, and visitors during events and routine duties.
