Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Previous custodial and routine maintenance experience preferred.
• Must follow verbal and written instructions and work independently.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform cleaning tasks.
• Ability to communicate clearly with staff, students and the public.
• Positive attendance and punctuality required.
• Must pass interview and references.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned building areas and perform minor repairs as directed.
• Move and assemble furniture.
• Assist in securing the building during and after shift.
• Participate in school recycling program.
• Assist with grounds duties, trash pickup, mowing and snow removal.
