Job summary

AOS Staffing is seeking an Evening Custodian to help keep classrooms, offices, restrooms, and hallways clean and inviting for students and staff.

You will work 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday, at a school site, using proper cleaning procedures and equipment. This role rewards reliability, independence, and attention to detail.

A high school diploma or GED is preferred but not required, and fingerprint/background checks are part of the pre-employment process.

Qualifications

• Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Previous custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or facilities experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment, techniques, and supplies is a plus.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle custodial equipment and materials.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of classrooms, offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Perform routine custodial and sanitation duties throughout the campus.
• Assist with setting up and taking down tables, chairs, and equipment for school events and activities.
• Safely operate custodial equipment and use cleaning products according to established procedures.
• Follow all safety guidelines and help maintain a secure environment for students and staff.
• Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns as needed.
• Work independently while managing daily responsibilities efficiently.
• Provide friendly and professional interactions with staff, students, and visitors.

Pay

$17.00 per hour

What You'll Do
