Job summary

Boulder Valley School District is seeking a Custodian for the 2nd shift to provide a sanitary and safe environment for students, staff, and the community. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to perform heavy lifting, with hours Monday to Friday, 3:30 P.M. to 12:00 A.M., and a 40-hour work week.

Pay ranges from $20.47 to $28.23 per hour, with a focus on safety, reliability, and teamwork. Candidates must pass practical and written tests as part of the selection process and complete

Qualifications

• Must communicate in English (read, write, and speak).
• Able to perform physical labor including heavy lifting up to 50 pounds; occasional up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Clean areas of building; remove trash.
• Assist in set-up and breakdown for sporting, special events, and meetings.
• Secure the building, locking classroom and office doors.
• Communicate maintenance/safety issues and custodial supply and equipment needs to head/lead custodian.
• Be on feet up to eight hours daily.
• Occasionally climb ladders or crawl as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
